For Ashley Glass, building has always been about more than bricks and mortar. It's about creating places where families can gather, grow and create memories for generations to come.
A dedicated family man with strong old-fashioned values, Ashley believes trust, honesty and quality workmanship should still form the foundation of every building project. These principles have guided his career from the very beginning and continue to shape every home built by Tropical Blue Homes today.
Ashley completed his carpentry apprenticeship in Bundaberg, gaining experience across residential and commercial construction alongside skilled tradespeople — developing a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, attention to detail and the importance of doing things properly the first time.

At Home in Gladstone Since 2004
In 2004, Ashley and his wife Mel made the move to Gladstone and quickly embraced the community as home. Over the years they have raised their family here, built lifelong friendships and contributed to the community that has given them so much.
A passionate supporter of local sport and outdoor life, Ashley enjoys fishing, camping and making the most of everything Central Queensland has to offer. Those same values of family, connection and lifestyle influence the way he approaches home building.
Ashley understands that a home is often a family's largest investment — but more importantly, it's where life's most important moments happen. A great home should support the way a family lives both today and into the future.
