From Concept Through to Completion
Building a custom home should be one of life's most exciting experiences. We take the time to understand not only the land you're building on, but also the way you and your family want to live — and by limiting the number of projects we undertake each year, every client receives the attention, guidance and communication they deserve.

Site Consultation & Discovery
Every great home starts with the land. Our process begins with an on-site meeting where Ashley personally walks the block with you to explore its unique opportunities — views, natural breezes, sunlight, privacy, elevation and the overall feel of the site.
This is also where we begin discussing your vision: how your family lives, the spaces that matter most, your style preferences, entertaining requirements and long-term lifestyle goals.

Concept Design
Once we have a clear understanding of your goals, we work closely with a trusted local draftsperson to prepare an initial concept design — the foundation for your future home.
At this stage we focus on site orientation, capturing views and breezes, functional floor plans, indoor-outdoor living and architectural appeal, creating a home that feels relaxed, welcoming and timeless.

Design Review & Refinement
We meet with you to review the plans in detail and discuss how the design aligns with your brief. Ashley provides practical building advice drawn from years of experience constructing custom homes throughout Gladstone and Central Queensland.
Together, we refine the design until it achieves the lifestyle outcomes you're seeking while remaining practical, functional and buildable.

Preliminary Costing
Once the concept design has been refined, we prepare preliminary costings based on the proposed design — valuable insight into the likely investment before progressing to detailed documentation and final pricing.
We believe transparency is essential, and we work closely with you to ensure expectations remain aligned from the very beginning.

Detailed Quotation & Build Proposal
When you're comfortable with both the design and preliminary budget, we move forward with a comprehensive quotation covering detailed pricing, project scope, specifications, inclusions, construction timeline and estimated commencement date.
Our goal is to provide clarity and confidence so you can make informed decisions before construction begins.

Construction
This is where your vision starts becoming reality. Throughout construction, Ashley remains personally involved and available to guide the project and answer any questions that arise.
We encourage ongoing discussions, regular updates and open communication throughout the entire journey — clients are never left wondering what happens next.

Handover & Beyond
Handover is one of the most rewarding moments of the entire process — where months of planning, collaboration and craftsmanship come together. But our relationship doesn't end when we hand over the keys.
We remain available to support our clients and stand behind the quality of every home we build. Many of our future projects come from referrals from past clients — the strongest reflection of the trust we build along the way.
